China Loses More Lives, Coronavirus Death Toll Increases to 722

The national health commission confirmed the coronavirus death toll in China has jumped to 722 as another 86 people lost there lives. The number has bet the SARS outbreak count and China and Hong Kong from two decades. The death is in Hubei province.

Also, with the addition of 3,399 new cases, the count of those infected has gone up to 34,500 across the country.

Previously, in 2002-2003, SARS outbreak killed 650. It belongs to the family of the new coronavirus. And, around the world, the death toll rose to 120.

Despite continuous efforts to control and stop the virus from spreading, the virus has infected many. Over 56 million people are under lockdown in Hubei and Wuhan.

Other cities try to prevent the virus from infecting the citizens and ask people to stay indoors.

With the death of Li Wenliang, the Wuhan doctor, the virus has raised an alarm. His death has sparked huge grief and anger.

The officials took a harsh decision by announcing a travel ban and evacuating passengers from the flight arriving from China. The authorities had strictly asked the passengers not to travel to China or fly from the epicentre to their natives. This is to avoid the infecting people spreading the deadly virus. All major airlines have been suspended travelling to and fro from China.
