In addition to a new interface, Facebook has finally released a new dark mode for its desktop version. The business first introduced this at last year’s F8 meeting. As announced, Facebook began testing the feature in October 2019, and the official release resulted in positive reviews. This was probably the criticism of the unintuitive interface of Facebook that culminated in the tech giant working in the last two years to simplify the website. It also promised to streamline its apps. You can Enable Dark Mode by accessing the settings in the drop-down menu.
Facebook’s latest interface offers simplified navigation by incorporating tabs at the top of the homepage for Forum, Groups and Watch. Compared to the previous version the Facebook homepage now loads quicker. The modern templates and the big fonts make it easier to read the pages too.
It is now possible to easily build accounts, activities, advertisements and groups on Facebook. Moreover, before posting it on phones, users will see a preview. The biggest change of new design for Facebook is the latest dark mode for the mobile edition of the app. Dark mode eliminates the brightness of the screen and protects eyes from the flashing light.
How to Enable Dark Mode on Desktop Version?
- Open FB on Google Chrome.
- Then, tap the drop-down menu button found in the home page’s top right corner.
- You’ll see an option which says “Move to New Facebook.”
- Tap it Now and enjoy the latest Facebook interface and the dark mode
Appears the latest version on the Facebook homepage. The dark mode can, however, be used according to the requirement of the user. Facebook users can go back to classic mode as of now, from the top-right drop-down menu. The choice is likely to go away though as more users turn to the new interface.
