Two brothers are rescued after they jumped from a burning apartment building in France from the third-storey window. An army of rescuers standing underneath the building rescued the kids. Dramatic video of the rescue operation was recorded on Tuesday in the city of Grenoble, according to the Daily Mail. The girls, age 3 and 10, unharmed by fall. They allegedly leap 40 feet down to escape the burning apartment after lock inside by their parents without keys.
According to CTV News, a witness who lives in a nearby apartment complex captured video of the rescue. The video shows people gathering from the balcony underneath the apartment as flames and dense black clouds of the smoke billow. Two kids allegedly hanging out of the window state they jump from the window with no escape route. The elder brother then dropped the three-year-old out of the window and into the rescuer ‘s arms waiting below before he jumped down.

The two men, miraculously, suffered no injuries but may have sustained inhalation from the smoke. The brothers are stable and in the hospital along with other building tenants and several emergency workers who fracture their bones while rescuing the brothers in the trap. One rescuer, Athoumani Walid, a 25-year-old student who suffered a broken arm while catching the children. He said he heard screams and ran toward the burning house.
The Mayor of Grenoble, Eric Piolle, thanked the people in a Facebook post for making the heroic rescue operation possible. An investigation to ascertain the cause of the fire is now underway.
