If you haven’t updated your WhatsApp, some essential features in your chat app might be missing. To both Android and iOS users, WhatsApp’s new update is available.
WhatsApp’s 2.19.110 update for iPhone will no longer feature a silenced chat alert badge. Even for the silenced chats, the app will previously show you a confirmation badge. The latest app addresses this and no more shows a client silenced chat alert badge. For Android users, this update already exists.
WhatsApp’s new update is 78 MB in size and also supports media editing. The alignment feature of the in-app will now allow users to properly position the emojis and stickers.
The iOS app version 220.127.116.11 and the Android app version 2.19.298 also receive several improvements to the community privacy settings, including a new blacklist option.
Whatsapp’s New Update Settings
WaBetaInfo, a WhatsApp fan website notes that you can now access the privacy settings of the app by going to WhatsApp Settings > Account > Privacy > Groups. WhatsApp will now provide you with the following options to better manage your team privacy settings:
Everyone: This allows you to quickly be linked to WhatsApp groups with no private chat invites.
My Contacts: In your contact list you can only add people to classes. You can receive a private invite from individuals not on your contacts list to join a group.
Except for my contacts. Option: The functionality allows you to decide which group you can add. WhatsApp previously had an option called “Nobody,” which prevented everyone from adding you to groups without invitations. With the exception of My contacts, you can decide exactly who will be able to add you to groups.
The latest iOS update from WhatsApp also fixes the backup problem for iCloud. The company has added a support page specifically designed for troubleshooting iCloud backup.
